Northwest Missouri’s hard-to-figure winter continued Monday with record-breaking temperatures and golfers hitting the links in droves.

It was one obvious sign that illustrated the vast difference between the region’s past two winters and a season that has failed to produce more than a few whimpers of frostiness. A whole host of statistics back up the welcome transformation, officials said.
