The UN nuclear watchdog says Iran has stopped a team of inspectors from visiting a key military site.

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) says no deal was been reached on inspecting the Parchin site, south of Tehran, despite "intensive efforts".

The inspectors had sought to clarify the "possible military dimensions" of Iran's nuclear programme

Israel definitely feels directly threatened by a potential Iranian bomb . No wonder they are considering a strike . Let's hope they can pull another stuxnet worm/rabbit out of the hat ...

Actually, I think they are already trying. Everyday there seems to be some kind of espionage incident somewhere in the area. Both sides are already actively in a cold war.

Lem - has anyone come up with a timeline to indicate when Iran might complete their nuclear program and have strategic nuclear weapons?

KB:

I have not heard anything lately. About three years ago, I heard that they were about two years away, but there was sabotage that destroyed some of their equipment. I believe someone (some think the US) was able to get a virus into a couple of their precision machining tools only made in a very few places in the world. The virus destroyed the equipment.

I do not think anybody knows what has happened since. A great deal depends upon whether they can get more of the machines through the black market, or if they can reverse engineer it.

Does anybody out there know anything that can disclose?

The machines they had were US made. No one seems to know how they got them.

Ah ......okay, so did anyone check the CIA's closet? :~))

You know - I want a score card,Lem. Someone gave me a link to an article in a Pakistan news service. Another perspective to who's at fault. I can't keep up with all of the different angles and deals.
